Job Description

ABOUT US
Priddy Chimney Solutions is a growing, family-owned business and one of the top chimney service companies in the DMV area. We specialize in chimney cleaning, repair, relining, appliance installation, and masonry services. We offer year-round employment, consistent hours, and ongoing investment in our team through paid training, certifications, and professional development. Our core values are honesty, integrity, service excellence, and reliability.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a fast-paced, people-first operations role. You will manage a team of skilled chimney technicians in the field — coordinating their daily schedules, keeping jobs on track, and stepping in when customers need real answers. No two days look the same. This is not a warehouse role, a driving role, or a behind-the-desk position. Success here requires proven supervisory experience in a trade or home-services environment, strong customer communication skills, and the ability to stay calm and decisive when things get busy.
WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE
You're on at 7am reviewing the day's jobs, routes, crew assignments, and any last-minute changes before technician's head out. Throughout the day, you're fielding calls from technicians in the field and from customers who have questions, concerns, or complaints — and you're expected to resolve them. When a job runs long, a crew member calls out, or weather disrupts the schedule, you adapt quickly — reassigning, rescheduling, and keeping everyone informed. You're accountable for your team's performance, safety, and morale — coaching them, identifying training needs, and holding them to high standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage daily job schedules and route plans; adjust in real time for delays, emergencies, or weather disruptions. Ensure all jobs are properly staffed and equipped with the correct tools, materials, and safety gear. Lead safety compliance across the team; report concerns and drive initiatives to reduce operational risks in line with OSHA standards. Handle customer escalations directly — owning the outcome and maintaining the company's reputation for service excellence. Develop and coach field technicians; identify training opportunities and hold team members accountable to performance standards. Oversee materials ordering, staging, and storage to ensure every crew has what they need before leaving the yard. Provide real-time updates on job status, schedule changes, and material needs to office staff and management. Other operational responsibilities as assigned

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred:
2+ years in field operations or service management in a trade or home-services industry (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, construction, pest control, chimney, etc.). A trades or trade-adjacent background is strongly preferred. Experience handling customer complaints and escalations directly — you're comfortable owning difficult conversations and resolving them professionally.
