You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our event rental business operations, from start to finish. $5,000 INRELOCATION ASSISTANCE FOR CANDIDATES WITH AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF PROVEN SUCCESSFUL MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN THE TENT & SPECIAL EVENT RENTAL INDUSTRY WHO ARE CURRENTLY LIVING OUTSIDE OF THE MARYLAND AREA!
•RESPONSIBILITIES
Take Initiative:

Ensure team members meet goals and deliver on commitments.Own Projects:
Oversee projects from conception to successful completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery.Problem Solve:
Analyze complex situations and make decisive, effective decisions, to include customer and internal issues. Lead byExample:
Foster a culture of ownership and high performance, jumping in to provide hands on assistance and guidance. to include Installation of tents and related accoutrements alongside their staff as needed. Direct & overseeing daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management and order fulfillment. Coordinate and monitor routing, shipping, receiving, and scheduling activities to maintain timely deliveries. Directly supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse supervisory team, providing training and support as needed. Supervise sales and front office activities in coordination with Senior Management. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations for setup during events and removal upon completion. Conduct on-site consultative visits to assess customer needs and assist the sales team in closing sales. Implement efficient order fulfillment processes to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality services. Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics efficiently. Evaluate event success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.QUALIFICATIONS A
Minimum of two years of verifiable experience in Retail Management, Party & Special Event Rental Management, &/or Operations Management is a MUST! Proven track record of longevity with previous employers, with a typical MINIMUM time employed at a job averaging 2-3 years, or more. Willingness to take full responsibility for outcomes and results, both positive and negative in supervision or management roles. Strong ability to pivot, learn from mistakes, and lead the team forward. A strategic thinker who also rolls up their sleeves to get things done. Excellent communication skills with a focus on transparent, accountable leadership. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes. Please note that since most special events are held on weekends, the General Manager must be available to ensure their success; this could mean both remote direction of the staff, and/or their own direct involvement, as necessary! This is especially crucial in the peak months of May, June, September, and October.
