POSITION SUMMARY
The Construction & Field Operations Manager serves as the leader of all installation and field operations for Shore Industries. This position is responsible for overseeing installation personnel, coordinating labor and resources, maintaining quality and safety standards, managing company assets and equipment, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is an experienced construction and field operations professional with strong leadership abilities, a commitment to accountability, and a passion for developing high-performing teams. This position works closely with Program Management, Sales, Production, and Executive Leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Projects completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. High customer satisfaction and positive client relationships. Strong safety performance and OSHA compliance. Reduced installation callbacks and warranty-related issues. Productive, engaged, and accountable installation teams. Effective stewardship of company equipment, vehicles, and assets. Continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and operational performance.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Lead and supervise all installation personnel, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Coordinate labor, equipment, and resources to support installation schedules and project timelines. Enforce adherence to company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and jobsite best practices. Plan and manage installation projects to ensure timely completion and efficient use of labor resources. Monitor jobsite performance and quickly resolve challenges that may impact schedules, quality, or customer satisfaction. Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure all installations meet Shore Industries' standards and specifications. Maintain accurate records of installation activities, productivity, equipment usage, and project performance. Serve as a primary resource for installation teams, providing leadership, coaching, guidance, and technical support. Support positive customer relationships by addressing concerns and ensuring exceptional installation experiences. Ensure all company vehicles, trailers, lifts, material-handling equipment, and jobsite machinery are operated, maintained, inspected, and documented in accordance with company standards and safety requirements. Train, mentor, and develop installation personnel to strengthen team performance and career growth. Collaborate with Program Management, Sales, Production, and Executive Leadership to ensure seamless project execution. Identify opportunities to improve installation processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. Ensure all installations comply with applicable codes, regulations, safety requirements, and company standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and profitability.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Strong leadership and personnel management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees. Thorough knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices. Expertise in installation methods, tools, equipment, and jobsite management. Strong project planning and coordination abilities with a focus on execution and accountability. Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, workplace safety practices, and risk management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience monitoring performance metrics and operational results. Strong collaboration skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
EQUIPMENT & FLEET EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have experience safely operating, supervising, and coordinating the use of construction and material-handling equipment, including: Telehandlers Forklifts Boom Lifts Scissor Lifts Skid Steers Excavation Equipment Company Trucks and Trailers Candidates should possess a strong understanding of equipment safety, jobsite logistics, load handling, equipment inspections, maintenance requirements, and proper operating procedures. Experience training or supervising personnel in the safe operation of construction equipment is highly preferred.

COMPENSATION
$75,000
  • $95,000 annually , based on experience, qualifications, leadership experience, and equipment operation expertise.
Performance incentives may be available based on department results, operational efficiency, safety performance, quality metrics, customer satisfaction, team development, and overall operational success.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 5 years of installation, construction, or related field experience. Minimum 3 years of crew leadership, supervisory, or management experience. Experience managing field personnel and installation operations preferred. Knowledge of OSHA standards and jobsite safety practices. Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience operating and managing crews utilizing telehandlers, forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, skid steers, and excavation equipment. Experience towing trailers and managing equipment transportation logistics.
OSHA 10, OSHA
30, equipment certifications, CDL, or related safety credentials are a plus. Experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
