Job Description

The Washington Commanders are seeking a manager of ticket operations to join our ticketing department. This individual will work closely with the ticket sales, service, and premium teams, and report directly to the director of ticket operations. Overview The manager of ticket operations will support the ticket operations and management for all Commanders football and live events, while representing the department across the organization. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Build events in the ticketing system, including seating manifests, price tables, special offers, holds / kills, presales, etc.
  • Work closely with ticket sales, service, and premium teams to build packages, products, and processes that aid in reaching the revenue goals of the department
  • Assist in financial reconciliation regarding daily reporting, monthly reporting, and event settlement
  • Act as ticketing liaison between departments within the organization
  • Assist the director in the hiring, direction, evaluation, and leadership of part-time staff and box office personnel
  • Support ticket operations for all Commanders games and related events Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with increasing ticket operations / box office experience; preferably with a professional sports team
  • Experience managing inventory and pricing
  • Experience managing full-time or part-time staff
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service to all customers, both internal and external
