You will be responsible for the "puzzle" of scheduling people for multiple weekly events, managing their hours, and coordinating the logistics of decor delivery and pickup. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can ensure our creative vision is executed on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities Personnel Management:
Direct supervision of 40+ part-time staff, including shift assignments, team placements for specific events, and conflict resolution.
Logistics & Scheduling:
Create weekly schedules for all upcoming events, ensuring the right number of people are assigned for setup and "strike" (pickup).
Time & Hours Tracking:
Manage staff clock-ins/outs, approve timesheets, and monitor labor hours to stay within project budgets.
Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:
2+ years in event operations, staffing coordination, or logistics management.
Organization:
Expert-level multitasking skills; ability to manage 10+ overlapping event timelines weekly.
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency with scheduling and time-tracking software (e.g., Connecteam, Homebase, or Deputy).
Communication:
Clear, professional communication with a diverse team of part-time employees.
Flexibility:
Availability to oversee weekend/evening pickups and troubleshoot onsite
Event Coordination:
Act as the central point of contact for staff on the road, troubleshooting pickup/delivery issues in real-time.
Inventory Oversight:
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure all scheduled decor items are ready for loading and tracked upon return.
Pay:
$54,519.77 - $72,000.00 per year
