Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is hiring a Program Manager I to support the Satellite Control Network Operations, Remote Site and Mission Partner Support (STORMS) contract at Suitland, MD.The Program Manager serves as the on-site contractor leader and program manager responsible for overall management, execution, and technical oversight of 24/7/365 DMSP spacecraft operations at the NOAA Satellite Operations Center (NSOC). Responsible for operational leadership, customer engagement, staffing oversight, mission assurance, anomaly response coordination, Continuity of Operations (COOP) readiness, quality management, and compliance with all operational and contractual requirements supporting Mission Delta 2 and 19 SDS OL-A. Provide daily operational and personnel management for NSOC DMSP
operations support. Serve as primary interface to the Government Program Manager, COR, NOAA leadership, and mission partners. Oversee spacecraft operations, mission assurance, anomaly response, and operational reporting. Manage staffing, scheduling, training, certification tracking, and operational readiness. Lead contingency operations and COOP planning activities. Support PMRs, quality management activities, and operational reviews. Ensure compliance with security, OPSEC, COMSEC, and contractual requirements. Support anomaly investigations, operational review boards, and mission-impacting events. Earn operations certifications credentials and perform operational duties when necessary. Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience supporting satellite operations, spacecraft operations, aerospace mission operations, or government space operations programs. leadership or program management responsibilities within a 24/7 operational environment. Desired Qualifications:
