Job Description
Field Supervisor - Comcast & Fidium Telecommunications Operations HighTek Contracting Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to oversee technicians performing Comcast coaxial and Fidium fiber installations, service calls, and troubleshooting. This position is responsible for managing daily field operations, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety compliance, and driving technician performance across assigned markets. Responsibilities Supervise residential and commercial technicians performing Comcast and Fidium installations, activations, and service work Monitor daily production, quality, customer satisfaction, and safety metrics Conduct field audits, ride-alongs, and quality inspections Assist technicians with escalations, troubleshooting, and technical support Ensure compliance with client standards, company policies, and safety requirements Coordinate technician schedules, routing, and workload distribution Train, coach, and develop technicians to improve performance and quality Review and manage KPIs, repeat calls, quality failures, and customer complaints Communicate daily with operations management, dispatch, and client representatives Verify technicians maintain proper vehicles, ladders, tools, meters, PPE, and required equipment Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of field activities Support recruiting, onboarding, and technician retention efforts Requirements Previous telecommunications supervisory or leadership experience required Strong knowledge of Comcast coaxial installations, troubleshooting, and service work Strong knowledge of
FTTH/FTTP
