Job Description

This position is open to Grand Rapids, MI, Orchard Park, New York and Clinton Twp MI.
Summary of Function:
The Commercial Operations Manager will own and optimize Medbio's commercial operating system, ensuring the processes, tools, and infrastructure are in place to drive profitable growth. This role is accountable for CRM strategy and adoption, pricing and quoting governance, contract management, and commercial performance analytics, while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Legal to improve visibility, strengthen decision-making, and accelerate conversion from opportunity to revenue.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the adoption and ongoing optimization of CRM systems, ensuring alignment with Medbio's commercial processes.
  • Define and govern CRM data structures, including accounts, contacts, programs, opportunities, quotes, and contracts, establishing standards for data accuracy, ownership, and accessibility.
  • Publish regular KPI dashboards to track commercial performance, including revenue, pipeline health, and incentive attainment.
  • Lead efforts to improve margins across the portfolio by identifying underperforming programs and working cross-functionally to address cost drivers through pricing adjustments and operational improvements.
  • Lead contract management workflows, coordinating with Legal and functional leaders to review and execute NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and quality agreements while ensuring timely closure.
  • Build a customer scorecard framework covering account standing, forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, price realization, cost improvement opportunities, and quality and delivery performance.
  • Lead customer visit planning and sales enablement by coordinating agendas, materials, and cross-functional participation.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Applications Engineering, Program Management, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless execution of the commercial process.
Organizational Relationships:
The Commercial Operations Manager reports to the Vice President, Sales & Marketing. This position has a working relationship with the operations leadership team and all functional areas of the company. Experience and/or
Educational Requirements:
3 to 5 years in commercial or revenue operations in a regulated manufacturing environment Proven experience leading CRM initiatives, including implementation, and adoption. Strong understanding of pricing, quoting processes, and commercial workflows in a complex, cross-functional environment. Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools such as
PowerBI Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform the standard practices required in this type of role within the industry, including occasional travel to Medbio facilities and customer sites as needed.
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
