We're a values-driven, community-focused team that values candor, accountability, and collaboration The Director of Operations will oversee all operational facets across multiple branches—ensuring we have the right people, processes, and data in place to deliver outstanding customer outcomes while maintaining profitability. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & People Development
- Lead, develop, and hold General Managers and the Service Manager accountable for results
- Run weekly L10s, quarterly conversations, and annual performance reviews
- Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and care for both customers and teammates Operations Process Ownership & Standardization
- Own core operational playbooks: pre-production, scheduling, execution, service, and reporting
- Document and enforce standardized processes across all locations
- Champion continuous improvement and practical efficiency gains Cross-Functional Alignment
- Ensure seamless handoffs between Sales, Production, and Finance
- Maintain accurate scheduling flow and complete job inputs for costing
- Guarantee complete and consistent production data for finance and decision-making Production CRM Accuracy & Usage
- Maintain integrity of production data in Builder Prime
- Ensure teams consistently update statuses, documentation, and required fields
- Enforce CRM discipline for scheduling, tracking, and closeout Customer Experience Outcomes
- Own customer satisfaction metrics and reputation across the company
- Oversee service and warranty processes that protect profitability and brand trust Capacity Planning & Forecasting
- Own production capacity planning, labor alignment, and scheduling forecasts
- Ensure operational readiness to meet revenue goals People, Values, and Culture
- Recruit, onboard, and develop leadership talent aligned with Herbert Roofing's values
- Model and reinforce EOS principles and the company's core values in every interaction Qualifications
- 5+ years in residential construction operations leadership
- Proven ability to lead multiple General Managers and a Service Manager across multiple locations
- Strong financial acumen: cost control, job costing, GP management, and budgeting
- Experience implementing EOS is a plus
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary:
$120,000 per year
Quarterly KPI Bonus:
Tied to GP, revenue, and operational metrics
Operational Excellence Bonus:
Additional quarterly incentives based on defined metrics
Annual Profit-Based Bonus:
Based on net profit performance
