Be part of a company that gives back to the Brainerd Lakes Area. What You'll Do As Director of Field Operations, you'll lead all service and installation operations across HVAC, plumbing, and appliance. You're accountable for four things: team performance, customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue growth. This is a leadership role — you build the systems, develop the people, and own the outcomes.Key Responsibilities:
Lead theTeam:
Coach, develop, and hold accountable all field technicians and installation crews. Own recruiting, onboarding, and retention. Own theOperation:
Drive daily dispatch, scheduling efficiency, job completion, and callback reduction. Build and maintain SOPs.Grow Revenue:
Train techs on options presentation, membership conversion, and job efficiency. Own KPIs including revenue per tech, first-call resolution, and customer satisfaction.Deliver Excellence:
Ensure every field interaction reflects the Schroeder's Standard. Handle escalations with ownership and urgency.Keep It Safe:
Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and trade licensing requirements. Own fleet, tools, and equipment. What You Bring to the Team HVAC, plumbing, or home services experience preferred, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or operations leadership role. Proven ability to lead and develop field technicians in a service-based business. Strong systems thinker — you build processes that outlast your own presence.
