Role:
We are a growing residential and commercial landscaping company in the Twin Cities area looking for a driven Field Operations Manager and Estimator. We need a leader who does more than just crunch numbers. You will be out in the field with our crews, estimating new projects, leading through on-site challenges, and ensuring our clients get exactly what they were promised.
What You Will Do:
Travel to job sites to accurately estimate project scope, material needs, and man hours for hardscaping and softscaping projects. Maintain a strong daily presence in the field to lead crews, assess real-time job site needs, and solve logistical challenges. Act as the primary point of contact to manage expectations for the clients, the field team, and executive management. Review job site variables like grade changes and equipment access to set the crews up for success before they arrive. Oversee daily equipment readiness and end of day maintenance checks.
Requirements:
Proven experience in landscape operations management and cost estimating. Strong on-site leadership skills with the ability to manage complex field logistics. Excellent ability to communicate timelines and manage client expectations.
