Elevator Operations Manager Experience Required

Red River Ag specializes in agriculture inputs and services including grain, chemical, seed, and fertilizer. Our Plummer, MN facility is a grain receiving and storage facility as well as shipment , storage, and blending of dry and liquid agricultural nutrient products. This position is responsible for managing all activities of both the grain and nutrient facility including operations, maintenance, safety, and quality. This is a hand-on leadership role requiring strong leadership and flexibility is essential! Key Responsibilities Manage daily facility operations, equipment maintenance and general facility upkeep. Monitor and track the logistics, flows, and processing of grain to ensure the facility is maximizing profitability and minimizing shrink. Manage facility safety programs including leading safety committee meetings, safety training and exposure & root cause analysis investigations. What is expected of you and others at this level Manages professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex technical or business support or production operations team(s) Is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operations challenges Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers Minimum Qualifications & Skills Strong Work Ethic is mandatory Must be flexible scheduling as more hours will be expected during harvest and planting seasons as well as more time off in the winter months.
