Acts in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Mercy rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Responsible for the overall management of the business operations in accordance with Mercy's mission, vision, and strategy. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details:
Education:
Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). MSN, MBA, or MHA preferred (will substitute experience for advanced degree).
Licensure:
Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Experience:
5-year minimum experience managing operations in hospital or clinic or equivalent healthcare setting. Other skills, knowledge, abilities: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Professional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in an expanding department. Must be able to manage large groups of people in an agile virtual care organization.
