$100,000 - $135,000 base + performance bonus + benefits Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Director of Operations to lead day-to-day operations of our scratch & dent appliances, furniture, flooring, and liquidated items outlet store and warehouse. This role is critical for scaling the business from ~$2M to $4-5M in revenue while the owner steps back from daily execution. You will manage a team of 15, optimize warehouse and retail processes, drive profitability, and ensure excellent customer experiences with imperfect goods. Key Responsibilities Oversee all store and warehouse operations including sales floor, receiving, inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention for bulky scratch & dent items. Lead, hire, train, schedule, and develop a team of 15+ employees across retail and warehouse functions. Manage inventory turns, pricing of liquidated/scratch & dent goods, stock organization, and shrinkage reduction to support revenue growth. Drive P&L performance: control labor, expenses, margins, and operational efficiency. Coordinate with vendors, auction houses, and liquidators for optimal sourcing and logistics. Implement process improvements for warehouse layout, delivery/logistics, and customer service in a dynamic liquidation environment. Ensure compliance with safety, security, and retail standards. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive retail/warehouse operations leadership experience, preferably in furniture, appliances, home goods, or liquidation/outlet settings. Proven ability to scale operations and drive revenue growth. Hands-on experience managing bulky inventory, warehouse optimization, and team of 10+. Strong analytical skills with inventory systems, basic P&L, and reporting. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
