We provide targeted programs that build resilience, foster meaningful connections, and support personal growth at every stage of military life. Our mission is to promote holistic wellness for veterans and their families, grounded in faith and guided by a commitment to God. Position Summary This Director provides strategic leadership for all Military Resiliency Centers (MRCs) and oversees The Warrior's Journey Warrior Connector Program. This position ensures operational excellence, program consistency, staff development, and mission alignment across all centers while equipping and supporting Warrior Connectors who serve military members, veterans, and their families. The ideal candidate is a servant leader with a strong understanding of military culture, a passion for helping others heal from invisible wounds, and the ability to build, train, and lead high-performing teams. This individual will help expand The Warrior's Journey's impact by strengthening center operations, developing Connector leaders, and fostering meaningful relationships within military and veteran communities. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategic Oversight Provide strategic leadership and direction for all Military Resiliency Centers. Ensure all centers operate in alignment with The Warrior's Journey mission, values, policies, and standards. Develop and implement operational procedures that promote excellence, consistency, and accountability. Collaborate with executive leadership to support organizational growth and expansion initiatives. Connector Program Leadership Recruit, train, mentor, and oversee Warrior Connectors nationwide. Develop standards, training pathways, certification processes, and ongoing professional development opportunities for Connectors. Provide coaching and support to Connector leaders and volunteers. Monitor Connector engagement, activity, and effectiveness through established reporting systems. Ensure Connectors are equipped to connect warriors and family members to appropriate resources, programs, and support services. Military Resiliency Center Operations Supervise MRC Directors and provide ongoing guidance, accountability, and support. Establish operational benchmarks and performance standards across all centers. Conduct regular site visits and evaluations to ensure quality programming and compliance. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. Program Development & Case Management Oversight Collaborate with center leadership to develop and implement programs that address the unique needs of military personnel, veterans, and their families. Oversee case management reporting, data collection, and program metrics. Utilize data to evaluate program effectiveness and support strategic decision making. Ensure consistency in service delivery across all locations. Training & Staff Development Lead ongoing training initiatives for MRC staff and Warrior Connectors. Foster a culture of servant leadership, collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Coordinate annual training events, leadership development opportunities, and continuing education programs. Advocacy & Outreach Advocate for the needs of service members, veterans, and their families. Lead outreach efforts that increase community engagement and program participation. Promote resilience, wellness, and healing within military communities. Qualifications Military veteran status is required for this position. Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in military support services, nonprofit management, ministry leadership, or related fields. Strong understanding of military culture and the challenges faced by service members, veterans, and their families. Experience leading teams, developing programs, and managing multi-site operations. Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop leaders. Excellent communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Alignment with The Warrior's Journey mission, values, and Statement of Faith. Physical Requirements Ability to travel frequently throughout the United States and internationally. Ability to attend meetings, conferences, training events, and outreach activities. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as mission needs require.
