Wednesday-Sunday This position requires regular travel throughout an assigned region in Missouri, including evenings and weekends during peak voter engagement periods. Regional Field Leads are responsible for implementing and managing local voter engagement operations in support of Missouri's 2026 electoral program. The Regional Field Lead will supervise paid canvassers and temporary field staff within their assigned turf and play a key role in executing voter contact goals, maintaining data integrity and building strong local field operations. This position reports directly to the Political Field Director. General Administration Turn in timesheets, mileage, receipts and reimbursement requests weekly Maintain organized and accurate field records and reporting systems Ensure all voter contact data is entered accurately and on time Maintain campaign materials, staging locations and canvassing supplies Support a healthy, collaborative and accountable team culture Field Program ImplementationPaid Canvass Management Recruit, train, supervise and support paid canvassers and temporary field staff within an assigned region.
Responsibilities include:
Managing daily canvass launch and close processes Assigning turf and tracking completion of voter contact goals Conducting quality control checks and field observations Supporting canvassers in improving persuasion, voter contact and data collection skills Monitoring attendance, scheduling and productivity of canvass staff Troubleshooting field challenges and escalating issues to the Political Field Director when necessary The Regional Field Lead is responsible for ensuring regional voter engagement goals are met and that field operations are executed effectively and professionally. Voter Engagement and Organizing Execute direct voter contact programs including: Door-to-door canvassing Phone banking Text banking Absentee and early vote chase programs Build relationships with community members, volunteers and local leaders to strengthen regional voter engagement efforts. Support recruitment of volunteers and community advocates who can help expand voter contact and turnout efforts. Data and Reporting Ensure timely and accurate entry of voter contact results into VAN and other campaign systems Track daily and weekly field metrics and report progress to the Political Field Director Work with data staff to troubleshoot turf, targeting or reporting issues Maintain accountability systems for canvassers and field operations Submit regular written and verbal updates on regional progress, staffing and challenges Coalition and Community Engagement Represent the campaign or organization at local coalition meetings, community events and partner actions when assigned Build relationships with local labor, community and civic organizations relevant to the voter engagement program Support coordination with local candidates, allied organizations and campaign partners where appropriate Leadership Development Support development of strong canvass leaders and emerging organizers within the field program Provide coaching and mentorship to canvass staff Conduct regular debriefs after canvasses, events and mobilizations to strengthen team performance and leadership development Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork and growth among regional staff
