Full Job Description Wine & Hospitality Specialist Location:
Uncorked Sommelier Wine Bar Position Type:
Part-Time or Full-Time Position Summary Uncorked Wine Bar is seeking a knowledgeable and service-oriented Wine & Hospitality Specialist to deliver an elevated and engaging guest experience centered around wine. This role is responsible for guiding guests through the wine list, making thoughtful recommendations, and executing service with precision and professionalism. The ideal candidate has a passion for wine, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to hospitality excellence. Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Front of House Manager / Lead and works collaboratively with both front- and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service. Compensation

        • Closed major holidays Essential Duties and Responsibilities
        • Provide knowledgeable and engaging wine service to guests, including recommendations and pairings
        • Educate guests on wine selections, regions, varietals, and flavor profiles in an approachable manner
        • Execute proper wine service techniques, including opening, pouring, and presentation
        • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the wine list and menu offerings
        • Assist guests with food selections and pairings to enhance overall experience
        • Support overall front-of-house service, including table maintenance and guest interaction
        • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including wine storage and glassware
        • Assist with stocking, polishing glassware, and preparing service stations
        • Collaborate with management on wine features, promotions, and events
        • Uphold service standards consistent with an elevated wine bar experience Qualifications
        • Prior hospitality or service experience preferred
        • Foundational knowledge of wine required; formal wine education (WSET, CMS, etc.) is a plus
        • Strong communication and guest engagement skills
        • Professional, polished, and approachable demeanor
        • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
        • Attention to detail and commitment to service standards
        • Dependable and punctual Physical Requirements
        • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
        • Ability to lift and carry up to 30-40 pounds
