An established and growing organization is expanding its operations in the Southern Midwest and seeking an experienced Director of Operations to play a critical leadership role in launching and managing a new facility. This is a unique opportunity to help build something from the ground up, drive operational excellence, and make a lasting impact on the success of a growing business. What You'll Do Launch & Lead Play a key role in the startup and development of a new operation, helping establish processes, culture, and operational standards from day one. Lead and develop teams while creating a high-performance, accountable work environment. Drive Results Monitor and improve key performance indicators including labor efficiency, productivity, throughput, order fulfillment, and operating costs. Utilize data and reporting tools to identify trends and implement operational improvements. Ensure Quality & Compliance Maintain high standards of product quality and operational consistency. Partner with Quality and Food Safety teams to ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness. Champion Continuous Improvement Apply Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency. Foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence. Promote Safety Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, and company safety standards. Conduct regular safety audits and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workplace. What You Bring Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, food production, or related operations environments. Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing performance metrics and operational data. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process optimization. Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building abilities. A hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to employee development. Why Join Us?
