Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

Warehouse Management:

Ensure warehouse performance and safety, coordinate schedules, and work with teams for customer and Company compliance and performance.

Warehouse Operations Oversight:

Oversee warehouse operations, improve organizational efficiency, and resolve customer issues such as delays or complaints.

Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement:

Develop operational strategies to boost efficiency, track KPIs, and identify areas for improvement.

Customer Service & Client Relations:

Address customer service issues, ensure service delivery meets expectations, and communicate KPI metrics and updates.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, maintain safety protocols, and address violations promptly.

Budgeting & Financial Oversight:

Assist with budgeting, monitor costs, and optimize resource usage to improve profitability.

Reporting & Data Management:

Provide regular performance reports, track operational data, and collaborate with accounting for financial reporting.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Experience:

5+ years in operations management within transportation, warehousing or logistics.

Skills:

Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, communication skills, and knowledge of transportation and warehousing regulations. Proficiency in logistics software, and MS Office. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong knowledge of warehouse and/or transportation operations, including procurement, order fulfillment, and materials management. Familiarity with AS400 or similar warehouse management systems.
