Job Description

The Office of Institutional Advancement at High Point University seeks a strategic, creative, and detail-oriented professional serving as Manager of Digital Operations. This full-time, in office role is responsible for executing high-impact digital communications that strengthen donor engagement, support fundraising efforts, and elevate the University's mission across key audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Marketing, or a related field required. Experience and Training 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in digital communications, ideally within a higher education or nonprofit advancement environment. Proven expertise in website content management, including experience with CMS platforms, website optimization, and improving user experiences (preferably Blackbaud NetCommunity, Wordpress, or similar).
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
Strong understanding of fundraising communications and donor engagement strategies. Proven experience managing and designing multimedia content for digital platforms, including websites, email campaigns, and social media. Expertise in email marketing platforms, social media management tools (Cloud Campaign or similar), and content creation software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Strong analytical skills and experience using analytics tools to measure website performance and campaign effectiveness. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and brand voice. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strategic thinker with strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Passion for the mission and values of High Point University.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Reports to the Director of Development Operations. Provides regular analytics reports on digital campaign performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and website user engagement metrics.
