Job Description

Position Summary The Operations Manager will work under the direction of the Vice President of Operations to provide oversight and administrative support while supporting production objectives in compliance with all safety procedures, cGMPs, and SOPs. Job Responsibilities Maintain compliance with cGMP, safety standards and good housekeeping standards Assist Plant Manager in supervising daily operations Determine staffing requirements, work assignments and schedules for new projects. Assist in interviewing, recruiting, training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities. Assist with coordination of area projects and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure timely completion and accuracy of procedural documents related to manufacturing operations projects Coach and mentor operations supervisors Assist with deviation investigations, CAPAs, occurrences and other documents as needed Collaborate with the Training Supervisor to update and maintain training plans Facilitate daily production meetings Other duties as assigned Experience Requirements Minimum of ten (10) years manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical industry Minimum of five (5) years in a leadership role Excellent listening, verbal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to prioritize workload and manage conflict Possess working knowledge of company policies and procedures, FDA rules/regulations and ability to ensure they are followed. Ability to work flexible hours. Education Requirements Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to indicate the ability to perform the duties of the position.
