Job Description
Company Overview Elderberry Health Care is a comprehensive skilled nursing facility offering 80 beds dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care around the clock. Our facility also features 20 assisted living beds and specializes in rehabilitative services, including occupational, physical, and speech-language therapy, delivered seven days a week by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This facility is family owned and operated and not part of a large chain organization. This facility has 30 years of continued success under the same ownership. Candidates should possess a proven history of financial success and survey compliance. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Executive Director to lead our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and extensive experience in senior leadership within healthcare environments. As the Executive Director, you will oversee daily operations, drive strategic initiatives, foster a positive organizational culture, and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining operational excellence. Duties Provide visionary leadership to align organizational goals with operational strategies and community needs. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and business growth. Oversee all aspects of facility management, including staffing, budgeting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. Lead negotiations with vendors, healthcare partners, and regulatory agencies to support organizational objectives. Cultivate a collaborative environment that promotes leadership development among senior staff members. Drive business development efforts to expand service offerings and community outreach programs. Monitor operational performance metrics regularly to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure regulatory compliance. Experience Proven management experience within healthcare or senior care facilities, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities. Extensive background in strategic planning and executing organizational initiatives that improve efficiency and quality of care. Demonstrated success in senior leadership roles involving negotiation, business development, and operations management. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead process improvements across multiple departments. Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in nursing home operations. Exceptional communication skills with an ability to motivate teams and foster stakeholder relationships. Prior experience in managing multidisciplinary teams including nursing staff, administrative personnel, and external partners is highly desirable.
