Full-time Area Manager Job Type:
Full-time We are seeking a full-time Area Manager to support and oversee multiple multifamily housing communities. This role is responsible for property performance, occupancy, compliance, budgeting, team development, marketing support, and maintaining strong working relationships with site teams and the corporate office. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, able to lead with confidence, and comfortable balancing financial, operational, and compliance priorities. Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations and performance of multiple multifamily housing communities.
- Support property budgets, monitor financial performance, and work with site teams to meet occupancy, revenue, and expense goals.
- Assist with leasing and marketing efforts to maintain budgeted occupancy standards.
- Train, coach, and support community managers and site staff while promoting accountability and teamwork.
- Review purchase orders, bids, and vendor proposals in accordance with company approval thresholds.
- Assist with lease enforcement, resident issues, and evictions when needed.
- Help ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing laws, and housing program requirements.
- Conduct or support inspections, reporting, and follow-up related to property condition and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with residents, vendors, site teams, and corporate departments.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency situations as assigned. Qualifications
- College degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in property management, multifamily housing, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of affordable housing programs and applicable landlord/tenant and fair housing regulations is preferred.
- Strong leadership, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with budgeting, financial review, and vendor coordination is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
Pay:
$60,000.00- $65,000.
