Job Description

Operations Support Lead Position Summary The Operations Support Lead is responsible for coordinating tool delivery operations, supporting customer needs, and ensuring operational readiness across field and shop activities. This role serves as a key link between customers, field personnel, shop technicians, sales staff, and management to ensure tools are delivered, maintained, rebuilt, and redeployed efficiently and safely. The Operations Support Lead will also provide leadership and training to tool technicians, maintain organized work environments, and support operational execution to meet customer expectations and company performance goals. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and/or deliver tools and equipment to customer job sites in a timely and professional manner. Communicate with customers to track tool usage, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate resupply needs. Work closely with shop personnel to ensure tools are cleaned, rebuilt, inspected, tested, and prepared for upcoming jobs. Coach, train, and mentor tool technicians on proper tool cleaning, rebuilding, inspection, and maintenance procedures. Ensure work areas, shop spaces, and operational staging areas remain clean, organized, and ready for use. Coordinate shipping and receiving activities for tools, equipment, and related materials. Collaborate with management to ensure customer orders are properly scheduled, built, and fulfilled according to operational requirements. Identify customer opportunities and communicate sales leads or service requests to the sales team while assisting with follow-up efforts. Maintain accurate operational communication between field crews, customers, shop personnel, and management. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, quality, safety, and customer service. Promote and maintain compliance with all company safety policies and operational procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or operational experience preferred. Previous experience in operations, logistics, field service, tool management, or industrial support environments preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools, equipment, and rebuild processes preferred. Proficiency with basic computer systems, inventory tracking, and operational communication. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Preferred Skills Customer service and relationship management. Problem-solving and operational coordination. Working Conditions Combination of shop, warehouse, field, and office environments. May require lifting, moving equipment, and occasional travel to customer locations or job sites. Ability to work flexible hours as operational demands require.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
