We're growing rapidly and are looking for an energetic, passionate, and experienced Traveling Assistant Center Manager to help lead our teams across multiple locations: Sea Girt, Hamilton, and Lawrenceville.
Job Description:
As a Traveling Assistant Center Manager , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing operations, managing daily tasks, and driving team performance. You will travel between multiple centers, assist in leading teams, ensure operational excellence, and deliver a world-class guest experience. Your leadership will directly impact sales, team productivity, and guest satisfaction. Flexibility and reliability are key, as your schedule will primarily include PM shifts with Sundays being a required day.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Sales Leadership:
Ensure exceptional guest service by creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest. Drive sales results by meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals; lead teams to do the same through effective coaching and motivation. Train and mentor Associates in sales, guest service, and product knowledge to ensure they meet individual and team targets. Promote brand loyalty by building relationships with guests, ensuring each interaction strengthens trust and encourages repeat business. Handle guest concerns promptly, with professionalism and a focus on resolution.
Talent Management & Team Development:
Inspire and motivate the team by fostering a positive, productive, and supportive environment. Train and develop Associates on all aspects of the role, from customer service to sales techniques and product knowledge. Provide feedback and coaching to improve individual performance and ensure team success. Collaborate with the Center Manager and District Manager to address team performance and development needs. Foster open communication with Associates, encouraging them to express concerns, ask questions, and provide feedback in a supportive environment.
Operations Management:
Oversee center operations in the absence of the Center Manager, including daily tasks, inventory management, scheduling, and guest service. Ensure proper inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving new stock. Assist in managing the waxing schedule using Zenoti software, ensuring timely and efficient service for guests. Monitor Associate schedules , ensuring breaks are taken as required and staffing levels meet operational needs. Implement marketing promotions , including setting up posters, displays, and ensuring the team is aligned with new campaigns. Conduct pre- and post-shift meetings , reviewing team performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure all guest profiles are up to date and complete in the system. Support the training and onboarding process for new team members. Assist the Center Manager in planning and conducting team meetings to keep everyone aligned and motivated.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, team leadership, and training. Ability to travel to the Sea Girt, Hamilton, and Lawrenceville locations as required. Flexible schedule , including PM shifts and availability to work Sundays. Ability to work independently and take initiative, especially when acting as "Manager On Duty." Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving results and enhancing the guest experience. Experience with Zenoti software (or similar POS and scheduling software) is a plus. Reliable transportation is required for traveling between locations.
