Job Description

As the Operations Supervisor for our Bergen & Passaic County public transit transportation operations, you will be responsible for employee relations and supervision of the 2nd shift (1:00pm-10:00pm) providing guidance and support to drivers and dispatchers and addressing any concerns while ensuring smooth operational flow.
Shift:
Monday-Friday 1:00pm-10:00pm Must be flexible to work other days/time or extended hours as needed Salary from $60,000 (based on experience). Role and Responsibilities Execution of action items, coordinate resources, and communications across all teams Analyze charter schedules and itineraries to ensure adequate resources are in place and in compliance with DOT regulations Coordinate and manage hotel bookings for drivers, ensuring that accommodations are arranged in accordance with job itineraries and operational needs. Ensure that charter buses are inspected for quality and readiness before each assignment. Monitor and verify drivers' Hours of Service (HOS) for compliance with DOT regulations, utilizing the Saucon system to track driver work hours. Audit load slips and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete, particularly on busy sail days. Adjust job assignments to reflect audit results. Participating in strategic projects and initiatives Qualifications and Education Requirements Ability to manage in a fast paced, high-changing environment, while maintaining a positive attitude Solid internal and external customer service skills Organized, analytical, and drive for results Instinct for process improvement Adaptable to varying levels of technology Proficient in Excel Effective written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skills Experience within the transportation industry a plus Bachelor's degree in Operations, Transportation, Logistics or related field preferred but not required Knowledge of DOT, FMSCA, and OSHA regulations Health Insurance and Benefits Offered Include Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, and Life insurance Supplemental coverages 401K plan Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Academy is an
