Your Job Georgia-Pacific is now hiring an experiencedProcess Managerto join our Milford, New Jersey team. As a member of the Sheets' leadership team, the Process Manager is responsible formanaging quality and processeswhile partneringwith the operations, commercial teams, and customers to ensure we produce and deliver mailers that meet our customer's needs.   • Be part of the leadership team that drives safety performance within the facilities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to improve process control, quality, yields, and reduce defects.
  • Lead quality, reliability, and operations process improvements across the mailers segment.
  • Partner with Quality, Reliability, and the commercial teams on project efforts.
  • Partner with R D team at I2 Institute to provide support for mechanical and equipment needs; collaborate and influence on information regarding reliability and operations actions.
  • Administer corporate computer systems involving plant floor data collection and customer complaints.
  • Champion the One Best Way mindset, 6S, Audits, and systems to support these.
  • Work with the site Directors of Operations on training plans, gap closures, and other process needs.
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for document updates and storage; work with the site Superintendents and Production Supervisors to update the Element Tree and Training Plans to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Lead the root cause analysis effort and own the knowledge share process for the sites. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Root cause analysis and cause mapping experience.
  • Experience writing SOPs, One Point Lessons, or other work instructions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams meeting productions goals and metrics.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 10%). What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline.
  • Statistical Process Control experience.
  • At least three (3) years of experience managing process improvements within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with Product Stewardship, Safe Quality Food (SQF) and /or British Retail Consortium (BRC).
  • Previous supervisory experience in leading other supervisors in maintain a strong safety culture while meeting daily productions metrics.
