About the Company Responsible for the planning, coordination and direction of the clinical operations of in support of policies, goals and objectives established by and with the CAO. The Director of Clinical Operations reports directly to the CAO. Directly supervises all of the clinical team managers and program managers, the supplies coordinator and the team support specialists, schedulers and clinical coordinators. Orients and develops managers with a focus on monitoring of quality and appropriateness of services and products. Acts as a role model and resource for middle management staff. Develops patient care staffing plans to assure maintenance of appropriate staffing levels. Participates in the hiring, evaluation and termination of professional and clinical support staff. About the Role To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Supervision of clinical team managers and program managers. Monitoring quality and appropriateness of services and products. Development of patient care staffing plans. Participation in hiring, evaluation and termination of staff. Qualifications Completion of a master's degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy or nursing from an accredited college; three years of community health experience with a Medicare-certified home health agency preferred, including at least one year in a managerial capacity; OR Completion of a baccalaureate degree; three years of community health experience in a Medicare-certified home health agency preferred, including at least three years in a managerial capacity. Possession of, or eligibility for, a license or valid work letter as a physical therapist, occupational therapist or registered nurse as issued by the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Board of Nursing. Current, comprehensive knowledge of the home health care industry and the nursing profession. Required Skills Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to monitor and evaluate clinical services. Preferred Skills Experience in a Medicare-certified home health agency. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in home health care.
