Floor Manager Point Pleasant, NJ Our Client is seeking a hands-on, service-driven Floor Manager to lead daily floor operations in a high-energy, upscale dining environment. The Floor Manager role requires a strong leadership presence, operational awareness, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience. This Floor Manager position is ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in fast-paced restaurant settings and enjoy leading teams to deliver outstanding service. Position Summary The Floor Manager oversees all front-of-house floor activity, ensuring smooth service flow, strong team performance, and consistent execution of food, beverage, and hospitality standards. The Floor Manager is a highly visible leadership role that demands urgency, organization, and accountability while maintaining a strong presence on the restaurant floor. Responsibilities Maintain active floor presence during all shifts as the Floor Manager Ensure exceptional guest experiences through table touches and real-time service recovery Manage reservations and seating flow using OpenTable Oversee POS accuracy and reporting using Toast Monitor pacing, table turns, and section balance to support efficient service Ensure all food and cocktails are presented correctly and meet quality standards Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, food runners, and kitchen support staff Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate nightly goals and operational priorities Enforce company policies, service standards, and uniform compliance The Floor Manager will assist with staffing, scheduling, and labor control Support hiring and training initiatives in partnership with the General Manager Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations Support high-volume weekends, events, and seasonal business operations Qualifications 3+ years of restaurant management experience Upscale serving and/or bartending experience required Experience with OpenTable and Toast POS systems ServSafe certification required Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays Must pass background screening
