This role will oversee the production of skincare, haircare and color cosmetics for multiple beauty brands, ensuring efficiency, quality and compliance with GMP, FDA and
ISO 22716
regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TPM, Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence to drive high-quality, scalable production while maintaining cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee end-to-end processing operations, including mixing, blending emulsification and bulk production. • Develop and implement scalable, repeatable processes to efficiently manufacture multiple formulations across various product categories. Ensure batch consistency, stability and quality in collaboration with R D and QA teams. Optimize production scheduling and resource allocation to meet client demands while maximizing efficiency.
TPM and Continuous Improvement:
Implement TPM strategies to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reduce downtime and increase throughput. Drive Lean Six Sigma and process optimization initiatives, reducing waste and improving operational efficiency. Establish and maintain preventive and predictive programs to ensure optimal equipment performance. Compliance.
QC and Regulatory Standards:
Ensure all processing operations comply with
FDA, GMP ISO
22716 and client-specific parameters. Conduct process validation and documentation to meet regulatory and brand partner standards. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action efforts.
Team Leadership & Training:
Manage, mentor and develop a team of supervisors, technicians and operators fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement. Provide ongoing training programs on
GMP, SOP
adherence and best practices in batch processing.
Cost Optimization & SC Collaboration:
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize raw material sourcing and reduce costs. Identify and implement cost-savings initiatives in batch processing, material utilization and equipment maintenance. Improve production forecasting and inventory management to reduce lead times and enhance on-time order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Manufacturing or related field. Master's degree preferred. 10+ years experience in cosmetics, personal care or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Proven expertise in third party/contract manufacturing operations and multi-client production environment. Strong knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with GMP, FDA and
ISO 22716
compliance and audits. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, CMS and KPI tracking tools. Excellent leadership, problem-solving and project management skills. Salary commensurate with experience.
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
