Job Description:
Solar Eclipse New York is a design-led accessories and lifestyle brand transforming everyday objects into collectible, expressive pieces. Our products are carried by leading global retailers including Nordstrom, Anthropologie, MoMA Design Store, and Le Bon Marché. As we continue to scale across wholesale, retail, and international markets, we are looking for a highly organized and execution-focused Director of Operations to support and strengthen our operational infrastructure. This role will work directly with the operations manager to support day-to-day operations across production, wholesale, logistics, and trade. We're building one of the most design-forward accessories brands globally - and need a strong operator to help scale it. What You'll Do Production & Supply Chain Track and support production timelines across factories Coordinate sampling, approvals, and bulk production Work with logistics partners on shipments, freight, and delivery schedules Wholesale Operations Oversee purchase order tracking, ship windows, and retailer requirements Support wholesale accounts to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment Help manage compliance processes and reduce chargebacks Trade Shows & Pop-Ups Coordinate logistics and planning for trade shows and retail activations Support booth execution, staffing coordination, and timelines Assist with post-show follow-ups and internal tracking Inventory & Planning Track inventory levels and support reorder planning Assist in aligning production with wholesale and retail demand Team & Process Coordination Work cross-functionally with production, sales, and creative teams Help implement systems and processes to improve operational efficiency Ensure timelines and deliverables are clearly tracked and executed Who You Are Minimum 5 years experience in operations, production, or supply chain (consumer brand preferred) Highly organized with strong project management skills Detail-oriented and proactive - you don't wait for problems to escalate Comfortable managing multiple timelines in a fast-paced environment Experience working with wholesale and/or retail partners is a strong plus Excited to be hands-on and grow with a scaling brand About the Role This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and supporting a growing business. You'll work closely with the founder and play a key role in helping scale operations across multiple channels.
