Field Administrator

Field Administrator for Natural Gas Compressor Company Previous experience in similar role required, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. This job is located in Carlsbad, NM. No per diem.

Job Description:

The Field Administrator provides administrative, operational, and coordination support to both office and field service teams for an industrial equipment organization. This role bridges the gap between the office and job sites by supporting scheduling, documentation, compliance, and customer coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both office and field environments while supporting technicians and supervisors.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain reports related to field operations, service performance, and job status. Manage documentation including service agreements, safety forms, compliance records, and certifications. Assist with invoicing support by verifying service details, labor hours, and materials used. Support purchasing and inventory coordination for field service parts and supplies. Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. Travel to field sites for audits and reporting.

Essential Skills:

Experience in administration, safety audits, inventory control, ordering, and office support. Ability to conduct field audits and manage reporting and scheduling. Some knowledge of blueprint reading, troubleshooting, electrical, and mechanical systems. Assist with tracking training records, certifications, and safety documentation. Support compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Coordinate onboarding paperwork and field readiness documentation for technicians. Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA and EPA. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field sites for some audits. Work Environment This role involves a combination of office and field settings, requiring occasional visits to active industrial or customer job sites. There may be exposure to shop or field environments, where PPE might be required. The position operates during standard business hours with occasional flexibility needed to support field operations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Carlsbad, NM. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
