This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance staff support, inspections, client communication, training, account startup, supply coordination, and daily operational follow-through . This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working both in the field and behind the scenes . One part of the role involves overseeing a small territory of cleaning staff, conducting inspections, coaching team members, and helping maintain service quality. The other part of the role involves supporting daily operations through client check-ins, account startup coordination, deliveries, communication follow-up, and making sure important tasks do not fall through the cracks. We are looking for someone who is not just willing to "manage," but someone who takes ownership, solves problems, communicates clearly, follows up, and helps keep the business running smoothly. What This Role Does The Operations Coordinator / Field Supervisor helps serve as a bridge between leadership, staff, and clients. This person will help ensure our accounts are supported, our employees are checked in on, our quality standards are maintained, and our operational details are handled in a timely and professional manner.
This role includes:
supporting cleaning staff in an assigned territory conducting inspections and documenting findings checking in with clients and helping address concerns assisting with onboarding and training coordinating new account startup tasks delivering supplies and ensuring account readiness communicating with leadership regarding quality issues, staffing concerns, and follow-up needs helping make sure nightly expectations and scorecards are completed Key Responsibilities Field Supervision and Quality Control Oversee an assigned territory of cleaning staff and accounts Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality standards are being met Identify cleaning deficiencies, document findings, and communicate corrective action needed Follow up on repeat issues and help verify that problems are corrected Check in with employees on site to offer support, coaching, and direction Help ensure buildings are fully serviced and client expectations are being met Report staffing shortages, service failures, supply issues, or building concerns to leadership quickly Client Support and Communication Conduct routine client check-ins to help strengthen relationships and identify concerns early Assist with communication regarding service requests, issues, and follow-up items Help ensure client concerns are tracked, communicated, and closed out in a timely manner Represent the company professionally when speaking with clients on site, by phone, or through email Account Startup and Training Support Help support the launch of new accounts by assisting with startup preparation, access coordination, supply readiness, and first-service follow-up Train new employees on account expectations, cleaning standards, and company procedures Reinforce proper cleaning methods, attention to detail, and professionalism in the field Help make sure new staff are set up for success from the beginning Supplies, Deliveries, and Operational Support Deliver supplies and equipment to accounts as needed Monitor supply levels, identify shortages, and communicate needs before they become service issues Help ensure closets, equipment, and account setups remain organized and ready Assist with daily operational tasks that support smooth execution across the company Leadership and Accountability Complete and submit required checklists, notes, inspections, and scorecards accurately and on time Communicate clearly with management regarding issues, follow-up items, and account needs Help maintain accountability among staff while supporting a positive and professional work environment Step into problems early rather than allowing issues to grow What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: highly organized dependable and self-motivated detail-oriented comfortable holding others accountable professional in communication calm under pressure able to balance multiple responsibilities willing to be active in the field, not just behind a desk solution-oriented and proactive The right candidate must be able to follow through, communicate clearly, and take ownership of tasks without needing constant direction. Preferred Qualifications Prior supervisory, team lead, coordinator, or operations experience Experience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, facilities, hospitality, service, or a related field preferred Experience with inspections, quality control, or client service is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to coach employees and address issues professionally Comfortable using phones, email, and basic software for communication and reporting Reliable transportation required, as this role includes travel between accounts Physical and Work Expectations Must be able to travel between client locations Must be comfortable being on your feet, walking buildings, inspecting work, carrying supplies, and performing occasional hands-on support when needed Some evening or after-hours account visits may be required depending on staffing, inspections, or business needs Why This Role Matters This is an important leadership support position within our company.
