Job Description:
Clearline Capital LP - Director of Operations Position •No recruiters please•Clearline is an equity long/short investment adviser located in midtown Manhattan. Clearline is hiring a Director of Operations to report to the CFO. This is a full-time, in-office role. Base compensation 100k - 135k plus bonus and benefits (based on experience). Responsibilities Daily reconciliations of positions (both exchange traded and OTC) and cash with prime brokers and fund administrator (Citco), including verification of daily P&L Coordinate with prime brokers, executing brokers and administrator to rectify and resolve trade breaks and ensure timely settlement of trades Process all daily trade activity and respond to trading desk inquiries Monitor, elect and process all corporate actions, dividends and proxies Monitor and review prime broker balances and look for ways to optimize Assist with 13F, 13G and Form PF reporting Additional Responsibilities Participate in operational due diligence and be able to articulate and answer investor questions regarding all phases of the operation process Familiarity with the onboarding process for new executing brokers Assist CFO with compliance and procedures from an operational perspective Assist CFO with maintaining all service provider relationships Key participant for internal valuation and compliance committees Skills & Experience 4-10 years of fund operations or prime brokerage experience Preference for experience at an asset manager that invests in multiple asset classes Strong analytical skills, including deep knowledge of Excel Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and ability to work within a small firm Familiarity with Eze Eclipse (order management system), Bloomberg, MIK data warehouse and Aexeo (Citco platform) is a plus Detail-oriented, with strong follow-up and willingness to go above and beyond Committed and hard-working with interest in growth and longevity with the firm Collaborative team player Resourceful and self-directed learner
