Job Description

Graff Lab Studio is a growing art and event studio company, and we are excited to open our third location in Oceanside as we expand back into Nassau County. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Manager in Training (MIT) to join our team at our Oceanside graffiti art and event studio. This role is designed as a structured, hands-on training program for individuals interested in developing into a future leadership role within our company. Over the course of approximately 90 days, the MIT will learn all aspects of studio operations, with the goal of becoming confident in running the studio independently. This includes event management, staff support, customer service, and day-to-day operations. This position does not guarantee promotion, but is intended to prepare candidates for potential advancement into an Assistant Studio Manager role based on performance and business needs. This role is a great fit for individuals who enjoy working with children and have experience in environments such as camps, education, coaching, or similar leadership roles.
Training & Responsibilities:
During the training period, responsibilities will include: Learning and operating the studio POS system Assisting with daily financial procedures, including deposits Supporting staff scheduling and event coordination Helping manage and execute birthday parties, workshops, and events Assisting with food service during events Maintaining studio cleanliness and organization Supporting inventory management and supply ordering Assisting with coordination of summer camps, school field trips, and group events
Qualifications:
Experience working with children required (camp counselor, education, coaching, etc.) Interest in leadership, operations, and team management Strong communication and customer service skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Ability to take initiative and learn multiple areas of the business Reliable and punctual

Hours based on studio needs and training progression Weekends are a
MUST Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
