Motel Caretaker

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Motel Caretaker to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our motel property. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hospitality management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. As a Motel Caretaker, you will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, managing guest relations, maintaining the property, and ensuring operational efficiency to create a positive experience for all visitors. Duties Oversee the day-to-day operations of the motel, including front desk management, guest check-in/check-out procedures, and resolving guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and enthusiasm Supervise and train staff members in hospitality standards, customer service excellence, and safety protocols Coordinate maintenance and cleaning schedules to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and inviting at all times Handle human resources responsibilities such as scheduling shifts, conducting performance reviews, and addressing staff issues promptly Provide exceptional guest services by fostering positive guest relations, addressing complaints swiftly, and ensuring a memorable stay for all visitors Utilize multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette to communicate efficiently with guests, vendors, and team members Qualifications Experience in hotel or resort management with a strong background in hospitality operations preferred Supervising experience in a customer-focused environment with leadership capabilities to motivate teams Excellent communication skills Familiarity with front desk operations, night audit procedures, human resources functions, and guest services standards Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in property maintenance and operational tasks Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude Join us at the Park Motel and Cabins and become an integral part of creating welcoming environments where guests feel valued and cared for.
