The title of this position will be operations manager. Modular Concepts East Inc, with more than 20 years of experience in the Southern Tier, has transformed from on the land construction to creating unique on-the-water living experiences East Coast Houseboats, a fully owned subsidiary of Modular Concepts East Inc., has grown to become the leader in creating unique options for the floating hospitality industry. As an acknowledged boat builder by the US Coast Guard, East Coast Houseboats builds and delivers "residentially influenced" houseboats and other commercial floating structures from Maine to Florida. As we continue to grow, the candidate we're seeking will have a unique opportunity to grow with the company. The candidate will work alongside ownership and be responsible for some of the day-to-day tasks currently managed by the owners. The candidate should demonstrate a strong work ethic, as they will need to set an example of punctuality and professionalism within the existing production facility The candidate should posses' good communication skills, strong computer skills with the ability to not only improve existing processes but also provide insight into the creation of new ones. As the candidate works with the existing ownership group, they will be expected to take on projects directly from the sales and design team creating job folders, assisting in purchasing materials, scheduling production and providing a continuing conversation with the clients The position is located at our Windsor NY location. There is the possibility of travel to our contracted production facility as well as the possibility of overnight travel to launch sites.
