Fleet Operations Management Lead all aspects of daily fleet operations to ensure maximum vehicle availability, efficiency, and reliability Develop and implement operational strategies that improve fleet performance and support market growth Monitor fleet utilization and identify opportunities to optimize vehicle deployment and productivity Ensure operational readiness across all fleet assets Maintenance & Asset Management Oversee preventative maintenance programs and repair operations to maximize vehicle uptime Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure vehicles meet safety, regulatory, and performance standards Manage fleet replacement planning, procurement initiatives, and asset lifecycle strategies Monitor maintenance costs and implement measures to improve operational efficiency Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop fleet operations, maintenance, and support personnel Foster a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement Support recruiting, training, and retention efforts to build a high-performing workforce Establish performance expectations and monitor team productivity Safety, Compliance & Performance Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations Maintain fleet safety programs and operational policies Analyze key performance indicators and operational metrics to drive informed decision-making Implement process improvements that enhance service quality, efficiency, and cost control Financial & Strategic Leadership Manage fleet-related budgets, expenditures, and operational forecasts Support long-term planning initiatives that align with company growth objectives Identify opportunities to improve profitability through operational efficiencies and asset management Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and business initiatives What We're Looking For 5-10 years of leadership experience in fleet operations, transportation management, logistics, automotive services, or a related field Proven success managing large-scale vehicle fleets and operational teams Strong understanding of fleet maintenance, vehicle lifecycle management, and transportation operations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience managing budgets, operational performance metrics, and strategic initiatives Results-driven mindset with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Why Join zTrip?
