Job Description Are you a high-performance automotive leader ready to drive results in a top-tier dealership? The Ron Marhofer Auto Family is looking for a driven, experienced Used Car Manager to lead our sales team at Hyundai of Cuyahoga Falls . We are one of Northeast Ohio's premier automotive groups, and we are looking for a leader who can maintain our high-volume momentum while fostering a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of 20+ sales professionals, overseeing an operation that averages 250+ pre-owned vehicle sales per month. You are the engine of our used car department—responsible for acquisition, reconditioning management, pricing strategy, and team development.
What You Will Do:
Drive Volume:
Lead a high-performing team of 20+ sales consultants to consistently meet or exceed monthly volume targets of 250+ units.
Inventory Management:
Oversee the full lifecycle of pre-owned inventory, from appraisal and acquisition to aggressive merchandising and rapid reconditioning.
Strategic Pricing:
Utilize market data and local competitive intelligence to ensure our inventory is priced to move while maintaining aggressive front-end gross margins.
Sales Floor Leadership:
Spend your time on the floor, mentoring sales staff, assisting with desk negotiations, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Collaborate:
Partner with the service department to minimize reconditioning turnaround time and ensure our vehicles meet the high standards of the Ron Marhofer brand.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven Track Record:
Minimum 3-5 years of automotive sales management experience, specifically within a high-volume pre-owned department.
Data-Driven:
Ability to interpret market data and inventory metrics to make fast, profitable decisions.
Leadership Presence:
Strong ability to recruit, train, motivate, and hold a large team accountable.
Operational Excellence:
Familiarity with modern CRM and DMS platforms; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, "speed-to-market" environment.
