Assistant Innkeeper

Ravenwood Castle, an award winning 21 room country inn, is searching for an Assistant Innkeeper to expand our current management team. Candidates must be able to effectively supervise staff, as well as personally participate in all aspects of the day to day operations of the Inn.

Duties and Responsibilities may include:

Interacting with and serving on site guests. Serving as the primary point of contact for guests and potential guests via email, telephone and other communication channels. Supervising hourly staff. Personal participation in all aspects of the day to day operations of the inn, including light cooking, bar tending, and cleaning. Assisting with the completion of special projects.

Skills and Job Requirements include:

Strong written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills, supporting the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people and personality types. A high level of organizational skills, and an extreme attention to detail. A high degree of computer literacy, including core competency with Microsoft Office. The ability, willingness and initiative to work well in self-directed and small team capacities. Prior hospitality and supervisory experience is preferred. Compensation includes salary and incentive bonus program. This is not a short term inn-sitting position, we are looking for someone to join the team for the long term.
