This is a dynamic role that sits at the intersection of business operations and childcare program management. The ideal candidate brings a background in both business administration and early childhood education or childcare operations, and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This position plays a critical role in supporting enrollment growth, financial operations, marketing, hiring, and the overall administrative health of the center. Key Responsibilities Enrollment & Family Relations Manage enrollment inquiries, tours, applications, and waitlists Guide prospective families through the enrollment process from first contact to start date Maintain accurate enrollment records and occupancy tracking Communicate professionally with current and prospective families Marketing & Community Outreach Manage center social media presence and content calendar Develop and distribute promotional materials, newsletters, and community communications Support planning and coordination of center events and open houses Identify and pursue community partnership and outreach opportunities Financial & Administrative Support Assist with tuition billing, payment tracking, and financial reporting Maintain organized administrative records, files, and compliance documentation Manage vendor correspondence, supply ordering, and office operations Support grant and subsidy program administration as applicable Hiring & Onboarding Support Post job openings and manage applicant tracking across hiring platforms Schedule and coordinate interviews in partnership with leadership Assist with onboarding of new staff including paperwork, orientation scheduling, and credentialing Maintain up-to-date personnel files and staff documentation General Operations Respond promptly to internal and external communications Support leadership team with scheduling, reporting, and special projects Assist in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and professional center environment Qualifications Required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or office management role Familiarity with early childhood education, DCY Licensing, SUTQ and EHS standards Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general office technology Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Professional, personable, and mission-aligned demeanor Experience with childcare management software (e.g., Procare, IntelliKid System) Background in enrollment management or client relations Experience with social media management or marketing Knowledge of childcare licensing regulations and compliance requirements Experience supporting financial operations or bookkeeping
Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
$35,000 - $48,000 annually, commensurate with experience
