Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily business operations. This role is vital in driving efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and fostering a motivated team environment. As an Operations Manager, you will oversee employee performance, manage staff, and ensure all processes align with company standards. Your leadership will directly impact the company's success by implementing strategic initiatives, managing resources effectively, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. We are looking for a motivated leader who can take ownership of daily operations, support our crews and help drive the continued success of our company. If this sounds like you please respond with you resume and salary requirements. Duties Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies. Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. Coordinate crew schedules, equipment and projects. Coordinate paving, site work and trucking activities. Monitor job costs, production and profitability. Supervise foremen and field personnel. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized store environment. Assist hiring processes including interviewing and employee orientation. Conduct training & development sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques, and customer engagement. Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs. Handle purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and budgeting to optimize company profitability. Work closely with ownership to achieve company goals. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility and sales. Proven management experience in environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong background in sales management, including team management and customer service excellence. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development. Knowledge of retail math for pricing strategies, sales analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. Excellent communication skills paired with organizational skills for effective leadership and operational oversight. Valid driver's license without restrictions
