We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to lead our growing team, deliver exceptional client experiences, and support the growth of our business. This role will report to the CEOs of Athena Aesthetics, a buy and build platform that operates luxury medical aesthetics businesses across the US. Role Overview The Director of Operations will play a critical role in driving clinic performance, ensuring top-tier patient experience, and supporting growth initiatives. The director will serve as the full owner of the two clinic locations today, and support the plans to continue its growth through de novo openings. This role is ideal for a dynamic, results-oriented leader with a passion for building teams and growing businesses. The Director will have full operational ownership of the business, including P&L accountability, team leadership, KPI management, and overall clinic performance. Duties and Responsibilities General Operational Excellence Lead all operational aspects of the practice to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a world-class patient experience Serve as operational liaison between two locations - sharing best practices, tools and key learnings Optimize provider scheduling & room assignments to minimize downtime Develop cross-functional project plans, Strategy decks, SOP's, and checklists for day-to-day operations Finance / Inventory /
Systems:
Partner with finance to process bi-weekly payroll Ensure accurate reporting in clinic EMR (Zenoti). Stay up-to-date with Zenoti product knowledge and proactively plan future adoption areas to streamline operations and increase revenue. Implement and train solution across the organization Supervise inventory counts and drive product ordering, to ensure being done in the most cost-effective and timely manner. Define KPIs by role, and work to set goals with team-members. Collect, aggregate, and validate data for KPIs and communicate to team members on an ongoing basis. Human Resources & Team Development Lead recruiting, onboarding and ongoing training for clinical and front-desk staff Develop and refine compensation plans that reward and retain key employees and scale with the business Conduct monthly performance reviews and set metrics-based development plans for each employee Support employee engagement, conflict resolution, and retention strategies Vendor Management, Compliance and Quality Assurance Interface with the third-party vendors for day-to-day needs of the clinic and ad-hoc items including: pharma / clinical, marketing, IT, maintenance / building management, etc. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, hygiene protocols, safety regulations, as well as local & state rules Conduct quarterly QA audits (SOP is compliance, etc) Oversee OSHA, and ensure up to date on all licenses & renewals Continuous Learning / Improvement Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging best practices to drive ongoing innovation and improvement Identify areas for optimizing processes, enhancing the patient experience and upskilling employees to elevate the performance and culture of practice Growth Identify additional revenue opportunities and work with leadership team to enact Partner with executive leadership on market expansion strategy, de novo opportunities, and growth initiatives designed to support long-term business objectives
About You:
Education / Experience Bachelor's degree required, MBA a bonus 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, aesthetics, multi-site operations, or other consumer-facing service organizations. Experience leading growth initiatives, de novo development, and operational scaling strongly preferred Skills / Abilities Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization. Ability to operate in fast-paced environments with a focus on results and client service. Track record of successfully building teams and driving financial results Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and sensitive items with kindness EMR / Excel experience Relocation assistance may be available for exceptional candidates that are not local.
