General Description:
The Operations Manager is an integral member of the senior leadership team and reports directly to the General Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of a 100+ member team across two divisions, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and accountability in yourself, our Area Managers, and our front-line team members. Additionally, you will spearhead in-the-field training and development of both our Area Managers and front-line team members, as well as oversee safety compliance and equipment maintenance. This position is Monday-Friday, with hours that span from afternoon through evening. We will equip this position with as much training as necessary to master the job and provide an outstanding support network in case you need help. - Lead daily Operations Meeting with General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
- Report status of previous night's accounts, complaint resolution, and QA inspections.
- Responsible for reporting schedule and staffing changes to inform payroll.
- Coordinate new account setup, to include staffing, training, supply management, and ongoing customer engagement.
- Responsible for daily scheduling and prioritization of Day Porter division.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, repair, and deployment to ensure team members are properly equipped.
- Responsible for resolution of time-sensitive customer requirements.
- Attend new account walkthroughs with General Manager.
- Lead Daily Huddles with Area Managers to review Quality Assurance inspections, ensure awareness of required action plans, staffing changes, administrative requests and account details.
- Responsible for personally overseeing priority projects and reporting resolution to General Manager.
- Oversee and ensure the Final Touch Training Standards are adhered to, including safety standards.
- Responsible for performing daily Quality Assurance inspections, to include Day Porter division and evening janitorial accounts and coordinating required corrective actions as needed.
- Cover for Area Managers in their absence, ensuring no gaps in coverage.
- Provide end-of-day report to company leadership detailing account status, resolutions, and next day's requirements.
- Lead Quarterly Reviews for direct reports.
- Lead Weekly Day Porter Huddles.
- Attend Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual leadership meetings.
- Ensures that environmental and safety procedures are being maintained in accordance with Local, State, Federal and Company requirements.
- Support a positive, accountable, and professional company culture.
- Additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in motivating, mentoring, developing, and leading a team
- Knowledge of Human Resources policies and practices, including employee relations,
- training, safety, benefit administration, and succession planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written/verbal)
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Driver's license
- Organizational skills and demonstrated time management skills
- Occasional weekend availability
- Previous operations experience required
Pay:
$70,000.00- $80,000.
