  • 75,000/year (DOE) Role Summary The Command Center Manager leads Daxbot's day-to-day robot operations team and ensures missions are completed successfully, safely, and consistently.
This role manages a team of Lead Operators and Operators responsible for monitoring and supporting live robot missions. You will be responsible for training, coaching, scheduling, hiring, operational planning, process discipline, and maintaining high morale within the team. This is not a purely administrative role. You are expected to maintain strategic oversight during operational issues, keep the team calm under pressure, and step in directly when necessary to help resolve mission-critical problems. If you believe great operations come from discipline, coaching, and calm execution—not chaos—you may be a strong fit. What You'll Do Lead the Command Center Manage and coach Lead Operators and Operators Build a high-performance, mission-focused team culture Conduct hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and terminations Maintain strong morale while holding high standards Ensure Mission Execution Ensure customer missions are completed successfully Support teams during operational disruptions and technical failures Help teams problem-solve under pressure while maintaining focus on mission completion Serve as escalation support when Lead Operators cannot resolve issues Own Operational Excellence Maintain scheduling coverage and workforce planning Ensure proper staffing levels for current and future operational demand Monitor operational dashboards and performance metrics Conduct daily check-ins with Lead Operators to identify operational needs Maintain Process Discipline Ensure teams follow established SOPs Improve SOPs when systems or workflows need refinement Own operational documentation and training updates Resist pressure to skip critical process steps, even during urgent situations Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate with engineering when technical issues arise Submit clear bug reports and operational feedback Partner with sales and other departments to support customer needs Communicate operational risks clearly to leadership What Success Looks Like Missions are completed consistently Operators are well-trained and engaged Morale remains high Scheduling problems are rare Process adherence remains strong Communication across departments is proactive and clear Operational problems are solved without unnecessary drama You May Be a Good Fit If You Have Experience managing operational teams in fast-moving environments Strong coaching and leadership skills Excellent judgment under pressure Experience with scheduling, staffing, and workforce planning Ability to create structure without unnecessary bureaucracy Strong written communication and documentation skills Helpful backgrounds may include: Emergency dispatch Operations centers Logistics coordination Security operations Fleet operations Customer support leadership Military operations Technical operations environments You Will Not Succeed Here If You Become emotionally reactive under pressure Avoid difficult conversations Allow process discipline to erode Become unavailable when the team needs leadership Create unnecessary bureaucracy Prioritize excuses over mission completion At Daxbot, we solve hard operational problems with discipline, teamwork, and grit.
