Operations Manager

Warehouse Operations Manager, up to $90k

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in warehousing or distribution. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems such as IBM, Oracle, or similar. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 50+ employees. Solid understanding of

OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA

regulations; willingness to obtain relevant certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of process improvement tools like Lean/Six Sigma. Ability to work in fast-paced, fluctuating environments, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Capacity to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varied temperature settings (-10°F to 90°F).

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize warehouse efficiency and cost management. Coordinate shipping/receiving schedules to meet operational goals. Lead the warehouse team, including supervision, hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews. Monitor and manage inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy and timeliness. Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety protocols, and industry standards. Analyze workload versus staffing and plan for future needs based on business forecasts. Manage warehouse budgets, track performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct regular safety audits, promote safety culture, and enforce OSHA, FDA, USDA, and other compliance standards. Oversee equipment maintenance, coordinate with internal teams or vendors.
