Job Description

Recipe Philly is a first-of-its-kind restaurant concept: a full-service dining experience based on the principles of Heirloom Hospitality. Our menu is built from real family recipes, surfaced through a citywide competition and accompanying TV series. The food here means something. So does the team behind it. We're looking for a highly organized, detail-driven individual who can own the administrative backbone of the business while also stepping into a visible, guest-facing ambassador role. This position sits at the center of the restaurant's daily operations, supporting both the financial workflow and the overall guest experience.
Desired start date:
mid- to late-June 2026, ahead of our August opening. What You'll Own (Operations & Admin) You'll be responsible for ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly behind the scenes with accurate, timely reporting and organization. Maintain daily financial and operational reporting (sales snapshots, logs, and summaries) Manage daily banking, including deposits and cash handling Track invoices, payroll inputs, and tip distribution reporting Oversee internal logs (coolers, inventory, and compliance-related records) Support ordering and vendor coordination Lead onboarding for new hires and maintain employee records Manage uniform inventory and distribution Guest Experience & Front-of-House Support Ensure reservations are accurate, organized, and clearly communicated to the team Step in as host when needed, creating a warm and professional first impression Act as a communication bridge between front and back of house Brand Ambassador Responsibilities This role extends beyond operations. You'll help represent Recipe Philly within the local community and support growth initiatives. Collaborate with the social media team on local awareness efforts Build relationships with nearby businesses and explore partnership opportunities Support promotions, events, and community-driven initiatives Executive Support Assist leadership with administrative tasks, including emails, calls, and coordination Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism (NDA required) What We're Looking For Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable managing financial and operational reporting Confident communicator who can interact with guests and team members alike
Tech-comfortable:
Google Workspace, Excel, Word, etc. Toast POS is a plus. Able to multitask and shift between admin and guest-facing responsibilities Trustworthy and professional with confidential information Reporting Structure This role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with ownership.
