Regional Manager Position Summary AmberK is seeking an experienced Trucking Manager to oversee daily fleet operations, ensure DOT compliance, manage drivers, and maintain efficient, cost‑effective transportation workflows. This role is responsible for scheduling, dispatching, safety oversight, and performance management of all trucking activities. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage company drivers, including scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews. Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure on‑time pickups and deliveries. Maintain full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards. Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, maintenance schedules, and route efficiency. Resolve operational issues, delays, and customer concerns promptly. Track KPIs such as on time delivery rate, cost per mile, driver retention, and safety metrics. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure vehicle readiness and minimize downtime. Manage transportation budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities. Train new-hires as needed Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports for audits and internal reviews. Process and manage Pennsylvania oversize/overweight permits using the APRAS permitting system to ensure legal and compliant movement of restricted loads. Required Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in trucking, fleet management, or logistics operations. Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations. Experience managing drivers and dispatch operations. Proficiency with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and ELD platforms. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Preferred Qualifications CDL (Class A or B) is a plus but not required. Experience with route optimization tools. Background in safety management or compliance. Prior experience in a mid‑size or growing logistics company.
