Job Description

Friends Hospital Director of Plant Operations Philadelphia, PA Friends Hospital is the nation's oldest private psychiatric hospital, located on a beautiful 100-acre campus in Philadelphia, PA. Friends Hospital offers a continuum of care including level of care assessments; specially designed inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults; and a private residential rehabilitation program. Friends Hospital is easily accessed via public transportation and has free, safe, on-site parking.
POSITION SUMMARY
Administers and directs program to maintain buildings, equipment and grounds. This individual also ensure that all utilities and their distribution systems are procured and generated efficiently. The Plant Ops Director is responsible with coordinating all safety and general activities with all other departments and department heads within the hospital to insure safe and efficient operations. The Plant Ops Director oversees the housekeeping department and ensures hospital cleanliness standards are met consistently.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training:
High school diploma or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
Five to Ten years of progressive experience in supervision and maintenance. Specific experience should include maintenance installation, construction, and maintenance of grounds, utilities, and buildings.
