About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Meat Operational Manager to oversee our meat production operations. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality production, maintaining food safety standards, managing team performance, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities, hands-on experience in meat processing, and a deep understanding of
USDA/HACCP
regulations. Key Responsibilities Lead daily meat processing, portioning, packaging, and distribution operations Maintain product quality, yield standards, and consistent production output Ensure full compliance with HACCP, USDA, and company food safety policies Train, mentor, and supervise production staff and butchers Develop and manage production schedules based on demand Control waste, track yields, and monitor inventory levels Enforce sanitation, safe handling, and equipment operation protocols Maintain accurate production records and compliance documentation Collaborate with procurement and operations to maintain steady raw material supply Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost savings Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in meat processing or food production Supervisory or management experience required Strong knowledge of USDA, HACCP, and food safety standards Ability to lead and train staff in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Experience working with production equipment and yield management Comfortable working in refrigerated environments Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Ability to stand for long periods Ability to work in cold environments
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
